Microbiocomms has an enviable reputation for ‘right-first-time’ English language communications. The reason is simple. Before we start writing, we make sure we clearly understand your objectives and your key messages. Using our knowledge of health technology and life-science, we then craft key messages into compelling storylines, using language that connects meaningfully with your target audience.
Scientific publications, such as research journal submissions or grant proposals, demand a unique combination of scientific accuracy and readability. Using our extensive editorial skills, we help to structure scientific publications to achieve maximum impact and citation rates.
A professional image in the international healthcare and life-science arena requires attention to detail. At Microbiocomms we make sure that the quality of your health technology and life-science communications matches that of your products, services and research. We already do it for a global leader in health technology and several world-class life science research institutes – communicating compelling messages in everything from web-pages, brochures and press materials to research grant and Eureka cluster proposals.

Microbiocomms provided writing services to one of the Netherlands’ three ‘Top Institutes’ for the duration of its 7-year translational molecular medicine research program – helping to keep the Dutch life-science community up to date with important developments and success stories as well as writing copy for the institute’s annual reports. Working with some of the Netherlands’ leading life-science researchers, charitable foundations, and policy makers has given us unique insights into Dutch Life Sciences & Health initiatives.
Strategic Research Agenda
Based on his previous experience in the European semiconductor industry (four years as European Editor of the USA’s leading electronics magazine), Microbiocomms founder, Peter Harold, co-edited the Medea+ Scientific Committee ‘Towards and Beyond 2015 – technology, devices, circuits and systems’ document. Today he uses his professional education in biophysics and technology to bridge the medical and medical device technology domains in areas such as Smart Health and Personalized Medicine.
ERC Grant Proposal
When an eminent professor of tumour immunology at one of the Netherlands’ leading University Medical Centres submitted a European Research Council (ERC) Advanced Grant proposal, it was important that the readability and quality of English used was of the highest standard. Because we understood the technical content, we were quickly able to re-order key messages and produce a smooth reading text. He was subsequently awarded his Euro 1.5 million ERC Advanced Grant.
